Hello, I’m Jyoti...
‘Art isn't separate from daily life - it's how we pay attention to the world.’
My Story
Trained at Central Saint Martins for a BA(Hons) and then City and Guilds London Art School MA Fine Art, I often spend time translating these fragments of memory, nature, and deep time into layers of oil, watercolour, and thread. I aim to create a space where you can pause, reflect, and feel a deep sense of connection.
Beyond my studio, I am passionate about building community and sharing the narrative alongside artists who inspire me - a vision brought to life through PaintSpaces Gallery, where ‘every space has a voice’. You are warmly invited to join our community: visit the gallery, discover and collect works by living artists, or even host an event with us. Bring your friends, share the journey, and help us spread the word.

My Process
My process is grounded in a slow, hands-on relationship with material and time. Often working with oil and water based paints, pigments, and found threads, I allow fluid pigments to soak deep into the canvas, then stitching through and back to connect the layers. The way paint seeps and settles into fabric carries an ancient, historical weight, while opening up something entirely new and future-facing. It is a slow, meditative alchemy where the canvas becomes a living surface - capturing the rhythm of the seasons, elemental forces, and quiet moments of discovery.
